The Mornington Peninsula will also be a special place to me – it is where I grew up. Where I ran through vineyards in the dark after birthday parties, fell off the back of ride-on lawn mowers and spent hours at the beach. Cricket at the beach, finding crabs at the beach, meeting boys at the beach.
It’s not somewhere I want to live any more, I have well and truly become a ‘city person’, but I do enjoy the odd weekend trip. And recently I’ve been spending a lot of time at various locations in Mornington Peninsula.
Most recently, I went on a random road trip and visited a number of places I’d never been before. (Isn’t it great when you can’t constantly discover and rediscover your own backyard.) And here are some of the pics I took.
